Big Enough for 2 18's?

Recommended Posts

Ok so I have now got a design for 2 DD 9518's. I have people telling me the woofers will have a hard time being that they will kind of choked would you say? Well anyway the design is for daily and SPL. It is tuned to 37hz, has 12.5 cubes and 205 square inches of port area. This will go in a 1998 corolla. How do you think this design would be for them? ***Below is the design.

only one way to find out :pardon: looks solid tho

This isn't teeball. YOU DO NOT GET A TROPHY JUST BECAUSE YOU SHOW UP. Put the work in and then maybe get the respect when it has been earned

Noticed you were from Iowa too. DD's like big boxes for sure. I've never used DD subs though. Hopefully this turns out well for you

Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs.

More box builds

some cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches!

I'm with captain stupid.

would be a good setup for alot of power.

If you want to have a better daily setter go smaller on the port and tune lower.

this will add to your volume and should play lower.

you can also get away with less port area the lower you tune.

Oh i know how a 12v system works I did take 3 years of electronics in High school hands on and some in college and also worked on cars in college an always got A's to B's in each class.

But oh well enough dealing with ppl who have probably not even lived as long as ive been into electronics!
