On the sonicelectronix website, and in the manual it doesn't say if it is 1-ohm stable, but, in my box and as I have seen on the reviews for this amp on that site. There is a sheet of paper stating that all maxxsonic mono block amplifiers are 1-ohm stable. Anyone back this up? Don't want to blow out a brand new amp because manufactures can't get there facts straight.

Sweet, I have the same amp :D

Though I have it wired at 2 ohms on my CVR, I'm afraid to wire it down to 1 ohm.

Also for those that don't know, The bass knob that comes with the MB Quart FX1.600 is actually as gain knob, very nice!

I'll try it out one day, and see how it handles it, I just like to follow posted amp limits just to be safe.

call the manufacture. i had a similar problem. i have a arc audio 900.1 and kept seeing different specs.some said it was 2ohm stable some said 1ohm. i called arc audio. and within minutes found out its 1ohm stable. its better to go straight to the source if you can

MB Quart FX1.600 is not stable at 1 ohm. I called Maxxsonics and they said they need to update there shipping procedure to not include that sheet stating it's 1-ohm stable on the amplifiers that are not.
