just get something that will last, and do it once and be done with it. Go second skin or something of that caliber, it might seem expensive until you never have to do it again and dont end up with asphalt based glue all over the place.

^What he said you can get Bstock SS Damp off of their website.

Also you dont need to cover 100 percent of the area just the main places that need it.

Use a lot of small/medium pieces.

Cant say exactly 10 but just focus on the main spots where you have problems and target those then play bass, then target more places, and repeat.

Audio Tech sells them by the 25sq feet so you should be good with that and some to spare. 60 or 80 mil will work.

ust my 2 cents. i got a things of peal and seal. didnt clean surfaces except for wiping dirt off. did rear hatch in 99 grand cherokee 1 layer, world of a difference. trick for me was doing it is hot weather, it stuck better. im sure other stuff works wayyy better but for being cheap, and quick. it stopped rattles. . .idk if it will stop flex tho, if that makes sense

Yeah it worked since what you did is add weight which helped.

I chose audio tech just because i knew it was well reviewed and didnt want to take a chance on the peel for smell and stickiness purposes ive read.

BUT if it worked for you and your happy thats great and its something you should not be scared to share with people like the OP.

Ack, another one of these threads...

People will spend $4000 on a system and cheap out by using roofing material. UGH!

If you want to stop rattles, just look at installing foam behind trim panels. This will isolate them from the sheet metal and stop the rattles.

Proper sound deadener (not rebadged overpriced roofing material) is designed to reduce sheet metal resonance and structural borne noise.

OP, stick with a high quality 100% butyl product and PLEASE avoid P&S.
