OP, if you have a Dual 2 ohm sub you can wire to 1 ohm final load at the amp. If you have a Dual 4 ohm voice coil sub, you will run at 2 ohms final load. The ohm load the sub sees is dependent upon the coil setup of the sub. Please let us know which one you have. And head to Lowes, pick up some 3/4 MDF and start building the box.

go with a audioque amp i have had my 1200.1 for over a year and havent even felt it get hot plus the clipping light is great as well try 1200.1 d it puts out a little over 2000watts but thats full tilt with 14.4 volts at 1ohm
