Sup World....

I need a new amp to power my 2 AudioBahn AW1200Q 12" subs http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_131_Audiobahn-AW1200Q-12-High-Excursion-AW-1200Q.html . I recently learned that the amp Ive had them on http://www.audioallies.com/GetItem.asp?Item=GP1600.1 was a A/B amplifire. I need a D Class and my budget is $200 and under. Help Ya Boi I need some Bass!!!!!

still makes me wonder why maxxsonics decided to make like 4 different amp models that output the same amount of power

Kinda like how GM makes the GMC Acadia, the Saturn Outlook, and the Chevy Traverse....weird

I agree the aq1200 would be an upgrade, but don't dump on amplifiers just because they are class AB. Generally class AB are better sounding than their D counterparts. The only real disadvantages are their price and efficiency.

In this case i think you are looking at a nice upgrade if you go the aq1200.

i will let you know like i tell everyone else i have had my audioque 1200.1d for over a year and with right set up its does rated easily and also i have not seen mine got hot or even warm once plus the clipping light is very nice and if you call them there customer support is great im a huge fan of audioque amp and products and found them to be a great company to go through

Ok With that being said.... My amp that I currently have continues to overheat http://www.audioallies.com/GetItem.asp?Item=GP1600.1. I currently have it wired at 1ohm. How can I wire it to play until I can get my $ together for tha Audioque??? I just want her to play without shutting off help me out. Also I am very new to wiring and stuff so help me out as much as possible and as far as connections. Thanks!!!
