mttornquist
I needed a wiring kit to power my amps that I am getting. I had been talking to Tony for a week or two and he was a huge help with getting it figured out what I needed based on the setup I'm going to run. I am very pleased with the quality of his products and will be purchasing from him again! I didn't really have a clue what I needed as far as wiring and didn't want to go with a regular kit for this reason. He guided me through the process via email, responding multiple times a day, and we got it figured out. I ordered the kit last Friday, and received it in the mail on Monday; he has great turnaround time and fast service. Nobody beats CE Auto Electric Supply as far as quality and knowledge goes! Here is the custom kit he put together for me: 20 feet 4 gauge power cable w/ ring terminal installed 2, 3 foot 8 gauge power leads w/ ring terminals installed 2, 4 foot 8 gauge ground leads w/ ring terminals installed 4 feet split wire loom 1 rockford maxi fuse holder 1 fused distribution block 80 amp, and 2 30 amp fuses 1 wire grommet On to the pics! Thanks a bunch! I HIGHLY recommend purchasing your electrical equipment from him! He already knows that I will be ordering again here shortly Edited June 12, 2012 by mttornquist Quote My Build Log: http://www.stevemead...lmost-complete/

mttornquist
Finally got around to getting it installed! haha here are some pics: Shot at 2012-07-02 Shot at 2012-07-02 Shot at 2012-07-02 Shot at 2012-07-02 Shot at 2012-07-02 Shot at 2012-07-02 Shot at 2012-07-02 Shot at 2012-07-02 Note: there isn't a fuse in the fuse holder yet because I'm still waiting for my amp in the mail. If I had to do it again the only thing I would change is getting about 6in more of the wire loom. haha no big deal, it isn't close to anything. Was a nice easy insall (as far as installing large gauge wire goes) and went in pretty quick! Thanks again!! Chris Hammer
Hey thats a good price....would cut alot time off your install having the wire cut and terminated before you got it. Nice. snafu
Nice looking work Matt. I'm glad the kit worked out so well for you. SMD Members, feel free to tell me EXACTLY what you need - IE: - I need a 5 foot length of 2 AWG Red with a positive top post battery clamp on one end and a 3/8" eyelet on the other . . . - etc. I make up custom cables and cable kits all the time for the various local shops that I work with. I'll build it to your specification! Quote Tony Candela - SMD Sales & Marketing Email me at [email protected] to learn about becoming an SMD Partner! snafu
Chris, we use a crimping press to assemble all of our cables. 4 AWG eyelets are double crimped, 2 AWG, and 1/0 AWG eyelets are triple crimped. These kinds of crimps are lifetime connections. Quote Tony Candela - SMD Sales & Marketing Email me at [email protected] to learn about becoming an SMD Partner!
