POPLERO
I just picked up a 92 honda civic hatchback and it only has room for a pair of speakers on the doors.. it came with an older model sony single din and a pair of old skool blue pioneer speakers, personally I think I can get a wayy nicer set up just by swapping em with different brand moodels.. I don't plan on doing anythng big at all so my question is what would be a good set up for just running a pair of speakers and maybe some tweets off a single din stereo? I always wanted to try the rf t265s but from the power of a stereo alone I don't think they'll do any justice.. recommendations? b-dubs89
anything you buy for speakers is going to perform better with an amplifier . even if its only 50watt rms x2 , still better than deck power . i have had few systems with my mids and highs amped and it always sucks bad to go back to deck power Edited June 15, 2012 by b-dubs89
97Jetta1637
hell, if you're not looking for lots o' spending of da money, buy a boss 4 channel, wire up all 4 6.5s or 6.75s and run some tweeters off deck power. i picked up 2 pyramid tweets for like $10 on amazon. they sounded decent Quote #teamihop Two 12 inch DC XL's Carbon Fiber Cap Stetsom 7k Shell of box / baffle built by me Port / sealing the box by John Hone Fuck midrange Alpine-9886 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/177428-97jettas-sql-trunk-wall-loudest-99-buick-century-custom-with-a-one-legged-owner/ price has no influence on how something sounds I told him to move the fucking port. they see me hoppin they stoppin they can't believe im so white and dirty It looks like you got so drunk, that someone came up and stole your leg. BassJunkie
Get a cheap ass 4 channel and a set of the components you want. price has no influence on how something sounds Price does have an influence on build and material quality which can have an influence on sound. POPLERO
I didn't want a 4 channel to take up room, the car is small coming from an suv to a hatch.. I wanted to know if any combo of speakers and deck would sound good.. I mean giving less than 20rms each on only 2 speakers I know it wouldnt be great but maybe someone knew a secret I didn't.. all I'm looking for is a nice clean sounding set up with what I have to work with, money no really a problem.. but I would have wantd to keep from buying an amp in general..
