new guy Posted June 19, 2012 Report Share Posted June 19, 2012 (edited) I'm running two vvx 12 on brz 1700 at .5ohm. Voltage drop to 13.8 I guess I'm getting 1900w or so. That would be 800w to each. Just make sure you're sending clean power to them. how are you running 2 dvc @.5 ohm? dual4 will give you 1ohm and dual 2 will give you 2ohm Two dual two ohm subs can wire down to 2 ohms or .5 ohms. your right my bad, so with the brz 1700 wired to .5 ohm you are only getting 1900? aleroking Posted June 19, 2012 Report Share Posted June 19, 2012 (edited) have you guys ever heard of impedance rise? you could have a 5k amp wired to 1 ohm rising to 4 ohm and only getting maybe 2000 watts out of it.
