Audio Doc Posted November 5, 2006 Report Share Posted November 5, 2006 Deep cycle OR deep discharge. Sealed is the preferred flavour. You can run a stereo on anything 12v. But if your demanding large amounts of current, a battery not designed to handle it will last a couple weeks at best. Optima makes good batts.
