All this talk about air holes and suspending the box from the rear deck makes me think you should read around the fourms more. You should learn some more before doing your build so you know what you're doing. No offense but from what I'm seeing right now, this isn't going to go good. It's worth the investment in waiting and learning then to do something and have it come out horrible. Just my 2 cents.

And the fact more than one person agrees does not make it a circle jerk, it makes it a bukkake scene and you're in the middle ;)

Chick took 3 shots of Jager, and then, pissed in my mouth..

Hey Steve

I was wondering what you would recommend. My dad wants to upgrade the bass in his car since he has watched some of your videos on youtube. He has a BMW E36 M3 3.2 Evo, with 2x Alpine SPX-13REF in the Footwells, a Shallow Rockford Fosgate PS3 Subwoofer connected to a Rockford Fosgate P300 Amplifier in the boot, Original Rear Speakers still in car. He wants to add 2x 12" Subwoofers on the back shelf but is not sure if he can bridge all 3 subs with the Alpine CDA-9887R Head Unit that he has, also he wants to put 2x Alpine SPX-13REF in the rear doors and connect them all to one Amp. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

edit: i don't know anything about your amps, sorry, i can't help you any more then google can. Just try to match the final impedance (ohms) of the woofers and the power they handle to the amps specs and you should be good to go.

Steve is such a G. Your headunit isn't really an issue. Unless you want exactly what Steve has anyhow. By the sounds of it you'd like to do a free air set up through the back deck. Look into Fi Car Audio. They have a sub called an IB3. Two twelves of that and I suspect you'll be very happy. Plus they are a great price and everybody respects Fi subs, so you wont look foolish. But like the fella said earlier, seal the trunk from the rest of the car. Get rid of the third sub, it isn't necessary. If you want to add more aftermarket mids and highs (replacing your stock speakers) you may want to consider a second amp, or upgrading to a five channel that will power the subs off of the big channel, and your other speakers on all of the smaller ones. Good luck homie!

2015 Subaru Outback. That is all, I refuse to touch it.
