is that 8g wire going to the non needed cap??

im sure you already know capacitors do nothing but harm the electrical

least in the new camero's they come factory with 1/0 wire from front to back

Don't hate on the cap - it's there because the customer wanted it. It causes absolutely no harm to the system or the car. The 8 gauge wire is there because it is only about 20 inches from the huge 600 watt amp that powers this thing - maybe I should take advice from people like you and run pointless 0 gauge wire in it's place/\.
