Vito Basser
I am looking at running an RE MT dual 0.7Ohm in parallel on my 2500d, showing the amp .35Ohm for a daily setup. I was hoping that with a touch of box rise I won't be too far off 1Ohm. Does anybody else run theirs this low? Does it go into grill mode? Bad idea? I don't wanna cook the damn thing, but I can't afford another 1 just yet to run 1 per coil. (or strapped @ 1.4Ohm)
Azagtoth502
I wouldn't. Quote pa-pa-platypus sorry not everybody has a companies nuts so far down their throat they catch every drop ball sweat when it falls
gally
you gonna need a LOT of electric power for that....the big 3 and the biggest battery you can fit are the first things you need to do for that.... Shankkilla420
I'd rather wait for another and then strap those. .35ohms on one amp would probably dice, par boil, and grill it! LOL
SmallTruk
You'll be lucky if you can get it to not go into protect. Luckier if you get it to play and not kill it. And either way you go (strapped or single) you're gonna be below the recommended load. 2ohm for strapped, 1ohm for single amp. tacomaguy1
yes, it would handle it if you have the electrical to back it up. Set your gains right and let it rip Ran my older sundown 3k at .33 for 6 months and it was fine. Only time it would protect was when I tried to burp it at .2 lol Quote Team Flex Issues
Vito Basser
LOL @ .2Ohm! Your my new fucking hero!!! Thanks for the feedback guy's; I think I'll most likely run it @ 1.4Ohm, was just having a poke in the dark I do have very good electrical though (couple HO's & 8 D3100's) and a DD1 for dialling it/them in. 2 won't break a sweat @ 1.4Ohm strapped though, will they? tacomaguy1
1.4 strapped, so .7 each? That would be no problem for those amps. 8 3100's? These are completely different amps, but my teammate was running his dc 9k's at .7 strapped (.35 each) lol Edited June 26, 2012 by tacomaguy1 Quote Team Flex Issues
