MECHMAN is offering a nice discount on 270 amp alternators for Chevy Cobalt, Chevy Cavalier, and Chevy HHR Ecotec based engines. Normally, $449, now $349 while supplies last. These alternators are self exciting and will draw a check batter indicator light. As a consolation, they do eliminate the PCM voltage control.
