Omega5002
I don't dread my computer entirely, but I'm getting annoyed by my HD 4850, it runs too damn hot, the drivers never work ever, and now it's starting to crap out when I try to play Need for Speed Underground 2, it just all of a sudden stops working, and resets my computer, and that's an old game. inm
Only think I dread is my mom's office computer. I'm so used to using my laptop (i7 @ 1.73GHz, 1GB VRAM, 6GB RAM) and my desktop (i5-3570K @ 4.8GHz, 8GB RAM, 1GB VRAM). I go to use her computer, and it feels like it's just doing nothing. She has a single core Intel from who-the-hell-knows, with 512mb ram, and a 40gb hard drive. Win 98 Suck it bitches dont really use it... got it from my school for free a few years back and it just sort of collects dust. I'll boot it up the odd time for shits and giggles mostly. siucsaluki11
i dread the 10 year old HP desktop in the den, thing is old and slow, 1 gig of ram was a ton for when we got it, and it has that, lol. Main computer i use is a 17" MacBook Pro [email protected] GHz/core 8G of ram (going to upgrade to 16G as soon as i can, protools sessions with lots of plugins makes it hiccup at times, same for abelton) and a 7200RPM 750G HDD. I have a Glyph 1T 7200RPM external, and a Focusrite audio interface that i use with my computer when I'm recording or producing. I have a 17" HP with an i5 and 6G of ram thats a few years old now. And i have a 17" Toshiba that i forget the stats on, the AC port broke, so i need to have a friend solder a new one in for me and it'll be good to go. At school i love the computers, iMacs in our labs (classrooms with computers) and powermacs in all the studios with protools HDX setups. b-dubs89
i don't dread my computer but i expected way more , i have a toshiba laptop 4 gig ram and 320 gig hard drive running a 64 bit version of windows 7 , amd vision 1.33 ghz , it was $260 at best buy 8 months ago . i only bought this because my old dell inspiron 8600 got a worm and it wasn't cost effective for me to refurb it get a new hard drive and find a copy of windows xp and upgrade the ram , and it was running a 32 bit version of xp so i couldn't have gotten the most recent updates due to that . surprisingly my new toshiba runs about the same as my old dell ran when it was running good .
