Test: Sundown 1500d Vs Rf T1k Part 2

i know the sundown is more eff,but give the rf its power and make sure its rated at least 1500 watts.

thats all i'm saying,if sundown beats it, then i will say sundown is the better amp.

as stated in the post, the RF amp was a smaller amp and STILL ate up more power then a higher rated amp in the first test.

As stated though any test thats put on THIS forum no matter what the results or conditions there will ALWAYS be someone to discredit it just like there was with the other product so highly regarded here.

I mean i wish he did have the same "rated" amps from both companies, as stated before at the 1ohm load the RF may have 100-200 more watts, which is honestly at those high of wattages (2k and 3k) near impossible to hear a difference in, but id pretty much guarantee the RF is going to be more power hungry.

Also i agree we're talking about actual power output not what the company puts on the amp. Just because they paste a 1000rms on it doesnt make it a 1k rms amp, its priced about the same as the Sundown, it outputs about the same as the sundown, i really dont see what the big thing is about it being such a big difference in comparison.

none of that matters. Put a 1500 watt amp vs a 1500 watt amp not a 1500 vs a 1000.

i agree id like to see both 1500 amps tested together.

but i still think everyone on the RF side is getting way hung up on it being a 1k amp when every singe RF owner are the first ones to run thier mouth about those birthsheets any other time

this isnt a "being on RF's side" arguement.

you have someone comparing a bigger amp to a smaller one. "as stated" put a T2000.1 vs a sundown 1000 and post the results. I bet the bigger amp wins.

also, whats the birtsheet on a sundown 1500? dont tell me its exactly 1500 watts. Ive seen on the net about 5 other amps that look exactly the same but with different names.....one even had no name, and everyone likes them. For everyone to like an amp that has been rebadged 5 or more times it must put out more power then its rated. So now your comparing a 1000 watt rf amp that might do 1400 to a 1500 watt amp that might do 2000 right? no?

if his amps do 1500 watts,thats fine.i had one that did 1562 at 1ohm.

sundowns dont have "birthsheets" they claim to do 1500 at 1ohms,

they are based on a zenon board they are not the same rebadged amps as IA , atomic, RD, Adassa, and whatever others.

most of the boards are based off each toher but the components on said boards are not .

Again even IF the sundown does 2000 your saying in YOUR words that its ok that the RF at 1400-1500 is the same efficiency as a 2krms amp and thats good?

i'm not taking up for RF,i think fair is fair.i have thought about using Sundown myself.i have heard

alot of good stuff about them.
