If so use that to monitor the voltage for faults (sucks to have a dash light on though). Any wires you disconnected and didn't reconnect? All grounds tight with clear conductivity? Yes 14.9 cold, 13.8 idle, 14.5-7 at 1800-2k rpms I'll double check Yes it is annoying tho to check a bright scorpion vm lol I connected all wires but I'll double check. volvowith18psi Posted July 6, 2012 Report Share Posted July 6, 2012 (edited) I assume you have the AVBM and your car is PCM controlled..... The AVBM tricks the PCM to allow for voltage adjustment, and thus, the car thinks there is a problem when there isnt. I just sent my Mechman back to have the AVBM added on, and they warned me I may get a battery light, but, other then the dummy light being on, the car is fine. There should be a fuse that is in line with the charging system, if it popped, boom, instant battery light. I dropped $200 on a replacement alternator, just because that damn fuse was bad. Either way, the light is nothing big to worry about.
