So, I'm doing a new build once I get a hold of a new car.

This is what I will be using in my new build.

Kenwood headunit of some sort.

Rockford 6.5" P1652-2 component - have

Rockford 5x7" P1572 component - have

Rockford R300-4 amp for components - need

Ascendant Audio SMD series 15" DVC 2 ohm - need

Now, it comes to the question: What amp should I use?

I pondered about getting a hold of a Rockford T4000.1db, but I couldn't find one.

Which amp should I be using for the SMD 15"?

Audioque 3500D.1 is a good amp as well as all the ones stated above.

edit:

Sundown SAZ 3500D.1

Crescendo Audio 3500D

http://store.soundso...-amplifier.html

AudioQue 3500D.1

http://www.audioque....ifier_p_32.html

but if you dont have the electrical to back it up it could end badly... just saying I didnt see anything about electrical above.

Yes, I plan on wiring it down to 1 ohm.

I think I am going to go with the Crescendo Audio BC3500D. It seems to be the best budget amp.

Thanks again guys!

Relyks, I am thinking about running, possibly, (2) Optima yellow tops.

Any other suggestions would be in consideration.

the batterys wont be enough. , at least not imo i say check out irraqi /dc power H/O alternators

( just adding them batteries will add a strain to your alternator specially if it is the stock alt. which therefor will equal not full power and strain on the amp which could cause it to overheat and burn up )

so like i said above my suggestion would be a high output alternator and lots of grounds ( can never have to many ) along with the 2 batteries.

edit: also big 3 if you havent already.

If you happen to stumble across a t4000 you will def. need a high output alt and batteries to be on the safe side. When you go big, you have to pay. Just found all this out myself. Good luck with your build.

I would buy an AQ3500d.1 can be found used for $600 shipped which is great bang for the buck. But you need to think of electrical first. You will need at least a 200+ amp alternator and a nice 100AH battery. The electrical you need will cost more than the amp.
