If

I probably get the nightshade 15 over a zv3

If you're going for SPL then get the Nightshade, if it's more musical I would get the Zv3's. Right now I'm stuck between running (6) SA-12's or (4) Zv3 15's in my "Bumpin' for Breast Cancer " Suburban

that's funny my buddy is doing bumping for breast cancer as well. Go with 6 sa-12's if you dont want to spend alot in electrical and amps, go with Zv3 for better SQ and SPL and you've got a few grand laying around in cash

i got a pair of Zv3 15s with night shade parts that ill let go.

i had them in a dual chambered box tuned to 38 and i can play from 30-47hz with zero problems, had it on a RD D9 at .25ohm before it went to protect when i went crazy on the knob. LOL.

How do the Japanese feel about bass?

You know that since 03/11/11

Progene? I just saw that stuff on CNN. They said it makes your junk shrink all up. lol.

im pretty sure the op wont even notice if it gets even smaller.

t2 and sundown z v.3 are not even comparable the z v.3 is an all around good sub the t2 is not. Rockford make decent amps and that is it. people think the spaceship looking basket is cool but it does not help the woofer in any way. I would compare a sa to a t2 over a z to a t2. and your talking about recones. if you are going to need to recone the z you must be clipping the hell out of it with 1700 watts therefor the t2 will be dead years before the z and i have heard the t2 having alot of tinsil lead problems. so your choice

since you only have 1700 watts I'd go with the T2's. The Z's will laugh at that wattage and make you feel sorry for even trying to bump it

This is true. I recently bought a Zv.3 15 and its ran by a brz1700.1 and you can tell it needs more. I'm going to beef up my electrical and going to get a Crescendo BC2K. I've only been had about 30mins-1hr play time so far but man............I'm in love. lol. Why would you need a re-cone or are you getting one used? Even if it does I would get the Z. Never heard a T2 but man after hearing my Zv.3 I dont think I need to lol.
