a question for anybody running this gear over there, will the amps handle .5ohm (as long as power supply is ok) and are the subs happy with 4.5-5cubes?

cheers and any comments are welcome!

prolly wanna keep the subs in the 5.5 to 6 range and i have heard of the 5.0K handling .5ohms just be careful. if you can try and keep them at 1 ohm and run the heck out of them.

I would not recommend running below 1 ohm per amp on the Xls. You have a shit ton more power than you need for the XL platform. If you want to use the 5ks to their full potential, then i would recommend stepping up and getting the Level 5s. 3500w of clamped clean power is about the most you are going to be able to put to the XLs in a daily application, anymore than that will just start to get burnt off as heat and could pottentially cause you problems.
