Jessica
So twice now i have gotten infected files from cnet. the most recent virus was "windows installer32[pup]" or something like that. My anti-virus nabbed it as soon as it finished downloading and did the same with the previous file(I never even got a chance to open it,) The program i was downloading was "WAV to MP3 encoder". I checked the reviews after and 107 people said it was useless and crashed. Guess they need better anti-virus. Funny thing is it's the second result in the google search results! I figured out itunes can convert for me so i got it covered, I just hate itunes, but thats not the point. The point is, I figured a company like cnet would do a better job. If my free anti-virus can catch stuff that theirs cannot that bothers me. Props to AVAST. Quote Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. beaker
you can convert it with LAME which is free, open source, and fast. It also has volume equaliztion. Audacity will do the same thing, and require LAME but will give you a GUI front end.
