bighossf150
It worked great when I first got it, set my opti6k and jl 4 channel without a problem, its been sitting on a shelf in my garage since then (about 2 months ago). Im building a new box and in the mean time I threw a mtx 10" and a cadence 2 channel in so I could have some bass while I get the new box done, when I went to dd1 the cadence I had the dd1 neg grounded to the rear battery and when I put the positive lead to the positive terminal on the amp it sparked and put the amp into protect. Figured it might have been the amp but it did the same to my jl. It was with the 40 hz -5 db on the cadence and 1khz -5 db on the jl. any ideas? SojiaRaggs9000
Did you do it with the car running or on? Also Im pretty sure the manual says amp ground not battery, but as long as your vehicle is a uni body i don't think that should matter. bighossf150
I just unplugged the harness from the dd1 and hooked just the harness to the amp and batt and it still went into protect. Bad harness?
