Do you know anything about putting subs as close together as possible to sound best/loudest? Bear in mind that this is not a design, just a way out for the ports without taking much net volume. Yes there's plenty of infos around the internet about the increased acoustic power but I don't think that 2" more or less will change anything dramatically.
