Ok, in the title "operation do it right" i mean that everything is getting done to where it will STAY for longevity as far as wiring and not need to much maintenance. That is what I will be doing for the next few days along with some reinforcing (major reason) and trim panel work to finally see how good these XLs can perform without a wollowing sound from a flexing back wall of the cab (major issue).

Here is the truck as it sits today, and yes, that is a 12ft by 6ft american flag on the gate.

progress today was:

- installed 3/0 for battery positive

- installed a proper ground for amp 2

- installed the rest of the grounds

- tightened up all the wiring (making it secure)

- subs out

- amps out

tomorrow hopefully

- box out

- platform out

- console out

- de-deaden the back wall (to install reinforcement to it)

the taking off of deadener i think might take a couple days.

I like that fur, and the middle console is sweet, cant wait to see it finished, for the wires under the truck I would use some thicker zipties, or some other kind of tie, like a metal band, cause from my experience zipties dry out and they crack and break when you have them holding heavy stuff, liking the batteries in the back too, good spot

time to fix the spot where the wires go through the bed (going to do a square that is booted rather than a bunch of holes)

Don't forget them grommets!

that was the whole deal, it is going to be a 3.5in by about 5in rectange cut out, and the entire thing booted(insulated some way) so i dont have to worry about it. then a panel concealing it.
