The big 3 got finished with a dremel. Cut it half way so the rubber boot could still cover the terminal.

i still have dimming lights, but im pretty sure thats because the wires that go to the lights are about as thick as a human hair.

i mean honestly every wire under the hood is just boiling hot except the 1/0 i ran.

very nice!

just a fyi, you can fit a d3400 or group 34 size battery in the stock location with slight modification of the battery tray and a new tie down. I have the Injen CAI on my 06 LX and I am still able to fit a d3400.

LOL?! fuckin really?

alright, would it make a difference if the battery tray is welded to the frame? i was going to pull it out and clean it up a little, but its tac welded to the top of the main frame.

and since its not reverse polarity, would i have to lengthen the positive wire any? i can redo the ground, no big deal.. but the positive stuff.

no, it should be fine unless you made a new battery tray.... i have a 06 lx sedan so stock battery tray should be the same, you really just have to bend the sides wider where the hooks for the tie down go.

The stock wires will reach but prob will be tight, you just have to pop the clips that hold down the wiring. I extended my stock wiring using some good 4ga, soldered and heatshrinked.

here are a few pics: had a yellowtop grp34 before the d3400...

BELOW:If you look you can see the white stock wire connected to the red 4ga and then see it connected in the 2nd pic below thats the stock wiring

NP, if you have any questions there arent many Scott aka Scooter99 & I cant answer when it deals with audio or electrical related stuff in 8thgen civics.

Yes, I have a 225a H/O alt form Nate @ Excessive Amperage... here's my log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/99204-06-civic-system-build-new-subs-updates-07-16-12/
