xf1v3xf33txf4tx
Is it possible to run 2 4 ohm svc subs separately to a mono block amp to keep them a 4 ohms(have the 2 positive wires just connect at the amp instead of have one run to one terminal of one sub to the other sub .etc)
Kranny
no. the two sets of speaker terminals on the amp is just to help make wiring multiple subs together easier. the amp will still parallel them internally. xf1v3xf33txf4tx
another question is it ok to run two 400rms subs at 1000rms
Scynte
Possibly, depending on the sub, amp, box, electrical, etc... General rule of thumb, if you have to ask prob better not to...
brandonlearL7
It depends on the brand of subs, and amp. If the amp is reliable and not clipping, then it should be fine. Use an O-scope or DD-1 to set your amps.
