Kranny Posted August 4, 2012 Report Share Posted August 4, 2012 but people say that audiopipe ap1500d can do more than rated and be run a .5 ohm and that makes it a better amp? just cause it can "do more than rated" which is like barely, doesnt mean that the power is clean. same with running .5 ohms. almost any amp can do it. and half the reason that said amps can, is because impedance rise makes the amp "see" 1 ohm and up. but it just puts more strain on the amp itself, and on your electrical system. that amp isn't really that power efficient as it is. that amps protection circuitry sucks dick too.
