SlamminSL1
No problem. Its no fun burning out gear, and it's really no fun when it's a simple mistake. chronic2001
Yes, you will be fine at 2 ohms with a 10" run of 4 awg. Yes, you should fuse it to be safe. Yes, 100 amp fuse will be fine. Hope this answers everything you wanted to know. Siete_Cinqo
4awg will be fine. But why spend $5 on a fuse when you can buy a foot 0f 0awg for maybe $6 at an audio shop and issue fixed. I would rather run a fuse in between 4ga than no fuse at all on some 0ga.Seems like a lot of yall love to play with fire... n8ball2013
so you need 2 feet of 0 gauge? id say pay for shipping and id send you that but that would be about the same price as picking up two feet locally. But why spend $5 on a fuse when you can buy a foot 0f 0awg for maybe $6 at an audio shop and issue fixed. well im not going to be buying extra fuses since i already have it laying around. but in the future, im going to run 2 0awg from the front battery to a back battery and just have all the amps hooked to the rear battery. and thats when i would be having to buy more fuses and holders. thus me saying ill add them to the check list when i finish my upgrade

chronic2001
No playing with fire here. Fuse the 4 gauge and be done with it. I have the same setup 1/0 running to block in back with 4 awg running to sundown sax-1200d with no problems. And I'm pretty sure my amp is pulling more then 1100 watts at a steady 14 volts.
