Dont get excessive amperage alternators, PERIOD.

Anyways, get 2 260 amp alts or 240 amp alts from Dominick Iraggi. They have more output @ idle than the 300's, will cost less, etc.

thats a little harsh considering mines fine and i know rays installed some that are perfectly fine,  most of the people with problems are idiots or cry babies, i had a problem with something to do with mine and it was fixed in like 2 days on his dollar.

a 220 would do me just fine if it'll do more than a 240 at idle.

Yea Im lookin at the 2-260amps vs 2-300amps and I would have 310amps at idle with the 2-260's vs 230amps amps at idle. Even though Im giving up top end amps, I think I'll be aight with 520amps max with the 2-260s. Thats about half of the amps worth of fuses Im running. Half of the total amps of fuses plus 3-2150amp batteries beside my amps and 3 runs of 1/0awg welding cable; I think that aught to do it for my power cuz with those to alts pumping, those batteries are gonna stay charged.
