Jessica Posted August 21, 2012 Report Share Posted August 21, 2012 My car has the same issue, It's old and there is no factory plug in the dash. The fuse is good but the switch wont turn on the headunit. I ran a new wire to the battery positive from the yellow wire, and ran a wire from the red wire to a fuse that did shut off when the ignition was off. NT_Hardcore Posted August 21, 2012 Report Share Posted August 21, 2012 u have to have 3 wires hooked up for this to work. red yellow and black. blk is ground. yellow is constant power (like off the batt) red is switched power (turns on with ign) you can wire the red to a switched source or use a switch and u will retain all memory settings- Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
