You're comparing oranges to apples. The crescendos are a pro audio midrange. They will scream and stay clear.

The xxx's are a very beefy mid bass. They will sound good and have an amazing punch to them.

I figured. I just haven't gotten to hear either in person and I'm looking more for a good punchy midbass with an emphasis on SQ.

I love the way the xxx's sound. If you just want loud mids and highs, get the pwx.

If you want a good sounding comp set, go with the xxx

Anything comparable to the XXX's for a little less? I don't mind spending the money, but I just don't wanna waste it either!

Call around your local shops. See if they carry RE or maybe someone in your area has them installed and take a listen to em.
