8ight
Just bought a 270 amp DC Power inc. XP alt on CACO for my '99 Jimmy (stock 100a alt is going out, only getting 12v idle SYSTEM OFF) and I noticed that I don't see a lot of people on here running them. How do these alts perform? I've never even owned an HO alt before. Quote I'm gonna hate

It used to charge at 14.4, I'm pretty sure the regulator is bad. Don't care, it's going in the trash lol. I idle at 500rpm and it used to hit 14.4v there too. OK cool, was wondering why I hadn't heard much about DC lately. Quote I'm gonna hate

bre2ts
at 1k rpm what is your voltage at? you may need an over drive pulley also... where are you taking the voltage reading from? take it either directly off the alt or at the battery up front Edited August 24, 2012 by bre2ts Quote Feedback 1 | Feedback 2 you win some, you lose some
