MECHMAN
it is sold as a kit due to the fact that the mounting pattern works only with our universal style alternators. MECHMAN
The triple kit would win as it would provide a cumulative output of approximately 450amps at 800 RPM as well as higher cruise output. Our SMD units will not fit with the bracket kit, unfortunately. If you wanted to do the double bracket kit and add a 3rd SMD 340 to it, you would have to fabricate a mounting bracket that would work with our dual bracket kit. The newer Triple Alternator Brackets are not made to hold the large case GM units as the original Dual Alt Bracket does. If you have any further questions, feel free to email me directly [email protected] or call 888mechman extension 202. Thanks! MECHMAN
Triple bracket with 320's would be the best way to go. Matt Quote 1-888-MECHMAN www.Mechman.com [email protected]
