Car wont start after amp install...

Recommended Posts

Installed a SSL Evolotuion 900wrms amplifier in my buddies car, wired it properly I checked every connection and the ground they all seem fine, when I unplug the amp power wire the car starts though...

I grounded the battery where the suspension/frame comes up through the wheel well, is it that? or could the amps be down

When you unplug the amp it starts? Lol what the hell did you do? Are you unplugging it at the amp or are you disconnecting the entire battery?

So what was the real problem?

Cause a bad fuse can not do that.

Dont wanna say?

^Exactly what Ray said only thing a bad fuse will do is not let the amp cut on. Im interested to know what the hell would do that though.

A super shitty battery connection.

Or bad tags with a hi-low convertor.

Or bad rem on tag

With any of those being bad wouldn't the amp remain off as well? From what he said amp comes on car doesnt unplug the amp and car starts? Unless his diagnosis is bs.
