again person talking out your ass 2 runs of CCA is almost double the amount you can pull out of 1 run of OFC

so how is that about the same?

Have you ever had your woofers blown?

I don't think Ray has your back on this one, man. I see many comp vehicles using lots of CCA to get the job done (unless they are sponsored) and I know for a fact that over 300A DOES NOT mean anywhere near 500, or else it would say 500A on the product page.

I'm gonna hate

While they fight over whatever, try the simple, cheapest first, then work your way up. No one can really tell you from over the internet. Ground your battery, have the front battery load tested (make sure a cell isn't dead, etc) Honestly, I'd like to see you switch wire just to see if their is this magically huge improvement. lol

Sorry to threadjack.

It is all informational and to the point, but don't want the OP to go do something he may not need to do. Honestly, I think it could be from the ground, to the front batt being possibly bad, to the alt being the 85 amp alt and not the 100 or 105..which ever the other one is.

I'm not going to say any one is wrong. I'll look at charts at home with better detail. It looks like good info. I think we can all agree that op needs to check his grounds first. And all his connections. Sorry for clogging thread op. bassick I would like to discuss this with you outside of this thread just to see some tests. I may be wrong but I'll pull up the thread where ray told me all about OFC.

thats whats i guess we are fighting over by what bumpin says the CCA is the problem then he said try grounds frist but his suggetion of havine to change wire for a 1500 watt amp is rediculous

Oh I know that. I agree with you on this lol. Just don't want the OP to get confused and buy stuff unneeded, yet. =)
