iSlap
Does reverse mounting your sub in your bad give you more spl? I was thinking on my next box build if i should invert it, do you just screw it in backwards. Maybe screw it in regular, glue and nail it backwards? Then you could never remove it unless you screwed apart the baffle? Confused as heck REPPIN 405 SQAUDD you can hear me for ya see me My setup (special thanks to DC creations) 1 Soundstream rub 2500 with 1/0 gauge 1 DD 9518g Pioneer DEH-P6000UB Stock alternator (170 amp) Dura last gold under hood with big
RooTxBeeR
Inverting only just puts the woofer on the outside, and takes away woofer displacements inside the box. Dan2427
If your using a gasket that came with the woofer I always just took the gasket off and inverted that too. I don't know if that's the right way or not. I also just screwed into the baffle as normal. 2003 GMC Yukon Denali Alpine CDA 117 Redoing Mids/Highs 4 Runs of 1/0 Knukonceptz 2+, 2- 4 Deka 9A31's in back (Stock underhood) 250 amp Alt. TylerParrish
Mine is currently inverted, just took the rubber gasket it off and inverted it then screwed it onto the box, viola, inverted sub, it doesn't negatively effect it, just looks cool if you have a decent magnet to show off ;P What the f**k is an appropriate signature supposed to look like?2013 Kia Forte Koup Pioneer AVH-X4600BT iDMax 12 DD M1c @ 2 ohms Rockford Prime 200.2 Pioneer 6.75" Comp Set XS S3400, D2700 Project DB Battery Terminals Axxess ASWC Stinger HPM Everywhereeee 90 Sq. skittlesRgood
it wont gain you anything. its usually used for looks, or 4th orders so you could actually smell coils burning. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.
