I believe it's because people around here care more to just meet up and listen to each others car's than some BS competition where you have to pay $30 to enter. Even more so when they really don't care if they win or not since most people arond here tune low.

^I agree 100% about the demoing and saving money for gas

I was just saying it would be nice to have more people show up at or have regular meetups outside of competitions

Bass race is fun. I enjoy it 1000x more than db drag. Just have to be good with volume control lol

That has been my thing with DB Drag. Prices have been going up every year since I started coming out. I'm not ballin' by any means by I'm doing good for myself and the $30 to enter hurts my wallet I can assume how much more that affects the people who save for years to put some decent beat in their cars.. I'm sure if the fee to enter was in the area of $10 we would have huge turn outs and the scene would grow. 15 people competing at $10 a person is better than 5 people at $30 per. Same earnings but bigger crowd which could lead to growth... Just my thought.......
