First time T-line build! (metered the box at AI)

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, here's my very first t-line build! didn't know much about them, so i read a little on the topic and got some help from Matt (IH8PunkRok). He also was kind enough to give me the 8" woofer for the t-line, so I wanna say thanks again Matt! :drink40:

Used 1/2 mdf, staples, and glue.

Missed some (a lot, lol) staples along the way, oh well.

Overall it got pretty loud and sounded great doing it! Im running it at 16 ohms right now and gain is at 0. Still shakes my mirrors and rearview!

Sounds really nice and i recommend anyone to try a t-line box, you will love it.

I'll upload some videos later, therye taking a while uploading.

what do you guys think?

Thanks for looking!

You should 45 those corners. The smoother the air flow the better the sound.

It looks good though

i wanted to do the 45s like you told me but if you see in the second picture, I lost a surface part that goes on my table saw close to the blade (theres a big hole where you could replace the surface by the blade to do angle cuts). I didnt wana risk cutting my fingers off for that lol
