SnowDrifter
Not really a review... But I saw their demo of the oil additive at my local Napa. Kind of turned the oil into thicker mucus and I noticed it seemed to hold more air bubbles than the plain oil. And it was "squeaky" when turned slowly, unlike the normal oil which was smooth - I'd assume this is the O-Rings swelling up a bit since there wasn't really any mechanical load on the gears. So that makes me wonder if it will wear anything else out in the engine. Besides that, I'm fairly anti-additive when it comes to putting anything in the oil long term. Solvents such as sea-foam that are only in there temporarily are fine in my book, but every time I read up on a given additive and look at some tests carried out by a third party, I find a pretty convincing reason not to use it. ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
