JMy CardomainFINISHED COBALT SS/SC DUAL ALTERNATOR PICS theres no such thing as too expensive when it comes to upgrades like that, because imo if you are gonna spend to upgrade then do it correctly rather then be a cheap ass ricer
reg93f150
you can try dry ice or an aresol can of freeze spray and a chisel to just pop it off, it will get harder when its like frozen cold i believe and easier to pop off without all the goo stuck on there Edited October 22, 2012 by reg93f150 Quote ALL CREDIT TO XX1 FOR DC BANNER down rpping vanderbilt. 30 miles from victoria. i own the 3rd loudest setup here out of 3. but i did put together all 3 setups strapping 2 amps together ? like bolting them next together? using bungy cables to hold them down? or wiring separate amps to each sub

Second Skin Rep Jon
Factory installed sound deadener that is applied with heat (and typically lacks a foil top layer) can be removed chemically (not recommended) or by use of more heat OR extreme cold from dry ice as mentioned above. Either way you go at it, it's a mess and is time consuming. If it's aftermarket sound deadener like Damplifier or Dynamat, as N8 suggested... pull like hell! And I've found that if you pull on the material parallel with the surface it's applied to (vs. just pulling straight up on it), it comes off a little bit easier.
