alaskanzx5
Wait... Have I had it wrong this whole time? I thought the big three was Block to ground Batt negative to ground Alt charging wire I didn't know it was block to battery negative doing a block to ground would still help if you alt is grounded through you block. the way it should really be done though is alt + to batt + batt - to chassies alt case to batt - and i would even add alt case to chassis block to batt block to chassis for those who are running some massive systems or those who would rather overdue it rather then under due it. ( why is it that over and due is overdue but you cant do under and due to make underdue? its misspelled that way. lmao, English) Quote t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. BobbyG2
Cleaner? Yes. Easier? Oh God, no. Explain why it wouldnt be easier With the big 3, all you need to do is add 3 wires. There are definitely more than 3 wires you'll need to replace under the hood, after removing all of them. But if that's what you want to do, there's no harm in it as long as you make sure you actually replace all the wires and do it right. Some of those wires run in high heat areas so make sure you're heat shielding the wires. Make sure they're all getting good contact. You'll definitely have a smoother running vehicle when done right! DubNDodge
Question. I have: 1. bat + to alt + 2. bat - to chassis 3. from that same bolt on the chassis grounds to the block as well. This is my stock path. When doing the big three would it be more beneficial to have this third cable connected to that same bolt as mention above, but instead of going to the block, go the the alternator?
