whats your opinion? capacitor/battery talk

Recommended Posts

just got a 2400 kinetic battery.... should i leave my old capacitor in my car to? so i have from my starter battery to my audio battery, from the audio battery to the cap, and from the cap to the amp? or should i just take the cap out and go straight from the kinetic to the amp?

IMO, I'd take that capacitor and toss it. This has been discussed a whole bunch. Better off with just that Kinetic.

i was planning on just getting rid of the cap but the guy at the local car audio store, (audiospecialists in southbend IN) said keep the cap in it will produce cleaner power..

The "clean power" term refers to the SIGNAL being sent from amp to speakers. Your power from batteries/alt to the amp is JUST power.
