We ALWAYS rate for the worst case scenario -- this is what you can expect as "official" ratings : X line -- 1250 RMS // pair of woofers with 2500D Z v.4 line -- 1750 RMS (1500 currently on v.3) // pair of woofers with 3500D NS v.3 line -- 2500 RMS Our ratings are generally tied to what can be done to the drivers safely in free air down to the 20s Hz region without damage -- so when put into enclosures users very often run much higher power.
