TylerParrish Posted November 14, 2012 Report Share Posted November 14, 2012 My friend showed me how to make his ipod louder with a computer speaker, and it got more and more in depth from then on starting with replacing 6x9's in my first car to building a 4500 watt setup on 2 10's. I went from not knowing what ohms and rms were to being some what knowledgeable about the subject. The spark was ignited by my friend, it took a while to really make a huge flame, but trial and error eventually brought me to SMD, once I found SMD, the fire began. SMD was the fuel for the fire.......and now I'm slowly burning down California, that's how big of a flame it made. None of that speech was meant to be said in a homosexual way, do not see it as so. Realized I paid alot and got crap after looking online a little. It motivated me to learn how to do it all myself and have learned almost everything I know about car audio off of here. This community has taught me alot..you just have to know who to listen to and trust. Sometimes people hand out some BAD advice and you would never know the difference if you were new on here.
