cjvue
Sick 240sx.... I used to have one. Single 15" L7 on 1400rms watts and flex the shit out of my back window (actually lost my spoiler from it lol). the_garynator
One of the last videos I took of the 15...shakin' shit at 25hz Got the 18" recone so I plugged my older lvl 5 into the wall..muhahahaha: The new 18" basket with a 10" SSA DCON hiding underneith lol 18" softparts vs 15". Standard 15" cone and surround vs AR18 upgraded cone and surround Standard 15" cone and surround vs AR18 upgraded cone and surround baskets sitting next to each other Cleaned up the motor Mounting the basket up Gluing the spider down Making room for the new box: Everything almost back together Amp mounted Tons of space now New battery placement Cutting the wood for the box...my shop landlord's super nice table saw...he's got a digitally controlled motorized fence system on it. it was nice having him cut the wood for my box...he owns his own woodworking company and builds custom cabinets. It's sweet because he stocks Baltic Birch and sells it to me stupid cheap. $34 for a 5x5 sheet vs Special Order $74 for a 4x8 sheet at Menards is super nice, plus the fact that his cabinet shop is across the street from my shop and since I don't have a truck or any way to get large sheets of wood to my shop, it's WAY easier and cheaper (gas) than having to have a friend pick some up or borrow a truck. It also beats the heck out of spending 4hrs of trying to cut a box precisely with a circular saw and guide (my table saw only goes up to 15") 11-ply baltic birch Unfortunately ran out of clams and had to throw some screws near the corners In the car: Bout this yesterday from a friend! I've used it before, but he didn't really need it anymore and I will be able to put it to use far more often than he would. Washed the back window, so better picture lol. Still breaking her in, hoping to meter it this weekend. That's all I have for now, but should be some more updates this weekend. the_garynator
Thanks everyone. And no, the cone is an upgrade and the dustcap is a tfs full dish dustcap. Redoing my spare tire well cover... I had put leftover resin on it from other projects but wanted to water proof it completely. All sanded down, ready for a coat of resin. Note : my goal was to waterproof it, not to be pretty lol Bottom coated Top coated and reinstalled Used my new 5/8ths roundover on the baffle Used some mdf to make the port removable from the outside. Also did a 3/8ths roundover on inside and outside of the port exit Sealing the port with awesome tape for now Back in for now Space is tight lol Im working on it some more tomorrow and im hoping to get my eeepc back up and running so I can meter it too. I should be posting a video or two at some point this weekend too. wmrcs
I'm not clear on what is happening here. Are you burping in the car and it is shaking it outside the car? E34 540iT/
