ChromeJerome
Not sure if this should go in electrical or engine, but anyways: I notice that my voltage doesn't drop at all once I'm around 1600-1800 rpms, and thought about how at comps people always seem to lock their rpms somewhere in that neighborhood, but I searched around a little bit and couldn't find anything and have no idea how to do that, cause I'm sure setting the cruise control while in park is a no-no. If it helps, I have a 99 Chevy Blazer automatic. They say money can't buy you happiness...but money buys car audio...and car audio makes me happy. SnowDrifter
Cable throttle? You can just adjust the screws to raise the idle to where you want. Chris Hammer
If its throttle by wire maybe talk to a tuner. Get a second PCM and have them raise the idle just for the comps. So you swap out pcms when you get there and swap back before you leave..or maybe email a company that does tunes and see if they can thin of a way. Thers a guy i know with the same truck as me that has two pcms one for towing one for Daily. He ahd PCM for less do one and bought it flat out..no core exchange. He says he likes both and performance increase is nice too. MY BUILD *****http://tinyurl.com/gmcbuild***** Vehicles 2005 GMC Canyon CB1000r - Currently where any future funds are going. ChromeJerome
Are you not allowed to use your foot to rev up the engine? I mean I've only competed once, and at the time I just knew that volume up=louder haha. But that works fine for demos and such, just knew there had to be some other way.
