trainman0978 Posted December 4, 2008 Report Share Posted December 4, 2008 When you run the router , you will be able to hear and feel the router working to hard if you go against the bit rotation...Also, Meade is using the porter cable 690 ( model ) router. He is using the fixed base in those photos and if you have a router that will fit the jasper jig using the plunge base, you can set the stops and make several shallow passes so you wont be straining your bit or your router...Cutting circles with the jig goes pretty damn fast too.... once you drill your pin hole and get the router and jig on the pin, the circle is done in under a minute.... 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser Voo Doo Blue my upgrades and "build" thread.
