hear the difference would be dependant on the install. if the difference between 12.4 volts and 14.4 volts is less then 500watts i doubt you will hear a different but a meter could show a difference. but if the difference is more then 500 watts then im sure you could hear some sort of a difference. basicaly anything above .5db gain could be noticeable by ear if your under 145 db to begin with but if your ove 150db you would need closer to a 1-3db difference to hear the difference.

i think the one thing you would notice the most is the sound quality. with the voltage holding steady you wouldnt hear te music at one volume and then another when the voltage drops. it would hold a constant sound level because of the steady voltage.

I think it depends on the output of the amplifier and how big the actual difference is. If its putting out 10k at 12v and you jump to 14 volts (and nothing else changes) thats a 1666w difference...idk if thats big enough to matter..but maybe.

the difference on 10k to 11666 watts might not be noticeable by ear but maybe .1 on a meter at most.

i think that with a higher output spl setup the difference of 2volts wont be noticeable by ear but by a meter for anywhere from .1-.3 db but it would be realy dependant on the setup though.
