K-Swift
I have 2 subs right now in a sealed box and wanted to know some tips and ideas on how to make a nice clean fiberglass box for the subs. I have a suv so trunk space isn't a big factor here. OrangeJuiced
You need to start with a base, such as a mold of the area you plan on using or even a mdf board cut to shape. Once you have the base, you need to create mounting rings for the subwoofers and then set them in place with props to secure them. Next, wrap the entire enclosure in a fleece material and coat it with resin. Then strengthen that with more resin and mat. Then add kitty hair to add more strength and get a nice smooth surface. Look into the Fiberglass Fabrication video set. They show everything and go into detail. 2001 GMC Sierra Build. Body dropped and Juiced
