Official "What did you do to your ride today" thread

I still have the fucked up 10 year old blades on my f150 lol, I havent driven the truck in the rain in a few years though so IM not really worried about it

Very surprised by them. Went through two German winters then the dry heat out here. They finally started streaking pretty badly, and I use the mister often with all the dust here. +1 for Ford LOL.

gotta replace mine soon lol.

Gonna go give my slut a nice wash. It's got a weekend worth of Lake Texoma mud and some other stuff...from tredging through a flooded sewer plant for work....all over it.

Well it was yesterday not today, but I got my alt in, rewired the batteries etc with SHCA 1/0, did an oil change (damn this thing takes a lot of oil - just under 5 gallons), and did the blue spring upgrade. Oh also found out where my exhaust was vibrating, after having it back to the installer twice and he couldn't figure it out, and fixed it. And my wife wonders why I fix all my vehicles myself!

On another note, I found out I can get a second alt in there, on top not in the ambulance down below package. I just have to decide what I want to do, compromises may be warranted. Nothing major, I'll start a new thread on it, so I can get some suggestions or opinions.

No pics of the other stuff, but here is the new singer alt and the battery cables.

Pardon the finger, oops.

It's it's anything like my '13 Sierra was you can run the grounds through the vent on the back of the cab and ground straight to the frame

Used to have a loud truck

2009 Corvette Z06, H/C/I, 150 shot, g force tune, 730rwhp/690rwtq

2013 F-150 limited, MPT Tune, leveled on 35"s

The ground will be 4ga OFC, would you recommend a run that long? My original plan was to bolt through the floor below the right amp then on the bottom have a run of 4ga or 1/0 from that bolt to frame. Is that redundant or a good idea?

I do want to. But it won't be in this tight bitch! I'll run a couple of compressors in the rear under the bed on the frame. I want it for air bags, air just in case, and of course train horns for those bitches that won't get out of the left lane!!
