Can a bad power wire cause bad voltage drops at the amp?

Recommended Posts

the longer u have been beating on it the better chance that its going

i think most advance auto parts do free alternator testing

if u plan on getting those 15's and aq2200 soon then hold out for the singer alternator

otherwise a simple alternator replacement should be enough for the amp your running

i would def try that extra alt u have if it fits

why not? looks like a good car audio fix

Most likely

I'll check that out

Plan is to have the 15's on the Kenwood till I get the Singer alt to run the 2200 properly, but I might as well get the Singer alt first

It fits, it's the same one, just in better shape, and Dogfret told me it was barely used

It's gonna take a while to install it cause Volvo's are a pain in the ass to work, took 10 hours to do the Big 4, but good thing I have a detailed manual on how to remove it.

I'll give it a try when I have the chance.

So, Dog24fret told me the alt I have laying around only has 20k miles of use, so I may actually swap out since mine has 213k miles of use.

Thanks for the help guys.
